The Tree House - Osfontein Guest Farm
The Osfontein treehouse is like an oasis in the middle of the Karoo. It offers an unique experience to visitors who would like to sleep in a completely safe environment, away from other people. High above the ground in trees that are more than a hundred years old, you can relax amongst the birds and enjoy the complete silence with just the occasional rustle of leaves moving in the breeze.
This luxurious safari lodge tent is set on a deck from where you can admire the captivating open spaces and unique hills (koppies) of the Karoo. At the back you can open the bathroom and walk onto a patio overlooking a beautiful dam, lined with old trees.
The self-catering treehouse offers accommodation for two with a double bed, en-suite bathroom, with hot shower as well as a kitchenette with fridge/freezer, microwave, two plate gas stove, cutlery as well as the basic pots and pans. There is a braai area (BBQ) and swimming pool at ground level and firewood is for sale at the farmhouse.
Guests are welcome to take long hikes, bring their mountain bikes to explore trails on the farm or just relax with a book among your friendly and inquisitive neighbours, the birds.
